Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work A&B Evansville Insulation Services does at your home or business. When you use the site, ask for an estimate or book a job with us, you agree to these terms.
If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or book work with us. You can always call us at (812) 205-2872 with questions before you decide.
What we do
A&B Evansville Insulation Services is an insulation contractor in Evansville, IN. We insulate and air seal attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements. We also remove old insulation and install vapor barriers for homes and commercial buildings in Evansville and the cities around it.
What's on this website, from the home page to the About page, is general information to help you understand the work. It isn't a quote or a promise about your building. Your written estimate and any signed agreement set out the actual work, materials and terms for your job.
Estimates and pricing
We give free on-site estimates, and there's no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, including how much insulation is already in place, the size and access of the space, and the material you choose.
Some conditions only show up once the work starts. Examples are wet or contaminated insulation, droppings, damaged framing or wiring that needs attention. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, show you and get your approval before we do any extra work.
Unless the estimate says otherwise, it's good for 30 days. After that, material costs or the condition of the space may have changed, so we may need to look again.
Scheduling and cancellation
We schedule each job with you directly and confirm the date before the crew comes out. Weather, material supply or a problem on an earlier job can push a start date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least one business day ahead, unless your written estimate says otherwise. Any deposit terms, and what happens to a deposit if you cancel, will be stated in your estimate or agreement.
Some foam jobs need everyone, including pets, out of the house for a set time. We'll tell you before the job how long that is and when it's safe to come back inside. You agree to follow those instructions.
Payment
Payment is due as stated in your written estimate or agreement. If no other terms are written down, the balance is due when the work is complete.
If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until the account is current. You're responsible for reasonable costs we incur to collect an unpaid balance, to the extent Indiana law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job isn't right, call us, and we'll come back and make it right. That covers work we did and material we installed.
The guarantee doesn't cover conditions that were there before we started. It also doesn't cover damage from leaks, pests, storms or other trades working in the space after us, or changes someone else makes to our work. Product warranties come from the material makers and follow their terms.
Apart from our guarantee and any written warranty in your agreement, we make no other promises about the work or this website, to the extent Indiana law allows. That includes promises about a certain drop in your power bill or a certain temperature in any room, because those depend on things outside our control.
Limits on our liability
We're fully licensed and insured, and we take care with your house. To the extent Indiana law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of the property, lost income or costs from delays, to the extent the law allows. We also aren't liable for anything that comes from relying on general information on this website rather than on your written estimate.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with something, please call us first at (812) 205-2872 or reach us through the Contact page. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're talking.
If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. Any court case will be filed in the state or federal courts serving Vanderburgh County, Indiana.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law. That holds when a job is outside Indiana, such as in Henderson, KY, unless the law of the place where the work is done requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page. The terms in place when you signed your estimate or agreement apply to that job.
If you have a question about these terms, call (812) 205-2872 or use our Contact page, and we'll walk you through it.
